annie journal

annie is curated and edited by Wendy Allen and Charley Barnes. Launched in January 2023, the journal looks to celebrate the work of new and established authors alike, writing in the genres of personal essay and creative nonfiction. Poetry will also be considered, however the space dedicated to this will be limited in comparison to the other genres listed.

Submissions to edition one of annie were open from January 20 (2023) through to February 28. Submissions will open in January 2024 for edition three. For more information on this, please do keep an eye on our website and consider following us on Twitter.
